We have members of our community who need some help. During the spring flood, the two homes along Convair on the south side of Arnold City Park had help putting up the sandbags to protect their property. Now they need help taking them down.
Because of a message on The Patch and some conversation on Facebook, a few folks (8) began the task of helping one of those people this morning, Mr. Andy Mueller, a disabled veteran.
This is a large undertaking and Mr. Mueller, and his neighbor, are in need of a larger contingent to help move these sandbags from their yards to the curb where the City of Arnold will haul them away.
I'm asking everyone to either help or if you are unable, to forward this message to people who may be able to assist in this effort. I know people may already have their Saturday planned, but more than likely we will be out there again tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for the people of Arnold to show we are a community that cares for one another.
If you have any questions, please email or call me (314-779-5927).
Thanks,
Michelle
