I’ve been with Arnold 22 years. I’ve been a policeman for 28 years. A friend of mine on the Country Club Hills Police Department applied to Arnold and had nothing but positive things to say about it. He kept telling me to apply. I applied six months after he did and was hired.

Knowing that what I do makes a difference to the people in the community that I serve, as well as making a difference with the officers in the police department
What do you like least?
There are times that it takes me away from my family. I’ve got seven kids. The job is not a job, it’s a career to me, but my family is very important. If I miss things that they’re doing, then I’ve missed a portion of my life because I may never see that again. But when you become a policeman you become a policeman because you honestly believe in the core of yourself that you’re out here to make a difference.
