Seckman Middle School Gets NFL's Laurinaitis for a Day
Student Mason Kirkiewicz won the opportunity to meet an National Football League player through the Show 'n Tell Program.
Tuesday, St. Louis Rams player James Laurinaitis visited Seckman Middle School in Imperial.
The event was part of the NFL's Show βn Tell program, sponsored by Verizon Wireless, a news release stated.
After his mother submitted his name in the online application form, Seckman Middle School student Mason Kirkiewicz won the opportunity to meet the Rams football player and bring Laurinaitis to school.

Masonβs mom surprised Mason on his birthday with the NFL Show βn Tell competition.
Mason wore Laurinaitis' Ohio State sweatshirtβLaurinaitisβ alma materβand blue and gold braces to school.

Mason and Laurinaitis toured the schoolβs halls and met the students cheering for them.
Laurinaitis spoke to Masonβs classroom about the NFL player's favorite songs, overcoming difficult situations and his work ethic.
Laurinaitis also signed photos for each student in Masonβs class.
After the visit, Mason joined Laurinaitis in a limousine ride back to Masonβs home.
