Join us Motherβs Day weekend on Saturday, May 9th, for a live storytelling event that celebrates the beauty, the beast and the barely rested of motherhood! Becoming a Motherβs Day tradition in The Lou, Listen To Your Mother is part of a national series of live readings that gives motherhood a microphone and promises to be an emotional, uplifting day to remember. St. Louis is one of 39 cities across the country to host a performance, which is produced, directed, and performed by local communities, for local communities.
The 3rd annual event features some of the most talented local writers who share powerful, heartwarming stories on a wide range of topics, from hilarious to heartbreaking and everything in between.
We promise a day of fun, including refreshments, inspirational readings, and prizes.

A percentage of ticket sales benefits the local nonprofit organization Family Resource Center, which provides programs and services to give abused and neglected kids a second chance in life.
