4.9-Star Rated dog daycare and dog boarding with Webcams

Dogtopia of Ellisville

Dogtopia of Ellisville is a locally owned dog daycare, boarding, spa, and training center on Manchester Road in Ellisville, serving families across West St. Louis County, including Ballwin, Wildwood, Chesterfield, and Clarkson Valley. Owner Nick Losciuto opened it in 2018 as Missouri's first Dogtopia, with a simple goal: give dogs the exercise, socialization, and enrichment they need, and give pet parents full visibility into their care. Daycare is the heart of what we do. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and play style and spend the day in structured, supervised open play with scheduled rest breaks. Every playroom is staffed by trained Canine Coaches, whose custom training program was designed by a registered animal behaviorist to help them read subtle body language and keep play safe and balanced. Live webcams let you check in on your dog in the playrooms and yard throughout the day. Our 10,500 sq ft facility is built for health and safety: four indoor playrooms plus an outdoor play yard, a separate air system for each playroom with UV Sterile-Air purification, rubberized flooring to protect joints, flowing water fountains instead of shared bowls, and a twice-daily deep clean with a hospital-grade, pet-friendly cleaner. We're a certified Heroes for Healthy Pets facility. Overnight boarding includes a full day of supervised daycare, so boarding dogs spend their days playing and socializing instead of sitting in a kennel run. We also offer spa services (baths, brush-outs, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth cleaning) and a 4-week puppy training program that pairs one-on-one sessions with real-world practice in daycare. We love giving back, too: our Ellisville pet parents have raised more than $30,000 for the Dogtopia Foundation, helping sponsor service dogs for wounded veterans. New to Dogtopia? Every dog starts with a free Meet & Greet, and new customers get their first week of daycare free. Call 636-283-2444 or book online at dogtopia.com/ellisville.

A house fire was reported at 627 Claymont Drive in Ballwin Friday at about 3 p.m. Metro West Fire Department responded to the scene, discovering fire in a one-story structure. A release from Metro West said the family was safely evacuated after smoke alarms alerted them. "By having working smoke alarms and the homeowner immediately calling 9-1-1 to report the fire, it helped our crews bring the fire under control relatively quickly," said Metro West Deputy Chief Mike Krause. Metro West said the incident is still under investigation but appears to be accidental. Download the movie
