GATEWAY GREENING TO PARTNER WITH GREENSCAPE GARDENS AND GIFTS FOR MAY “THIRSTY THURSDAY” EVENT
Each month, from April through June,
Greenscape Gardens and Gifts presents its “Thirsty Thursday” garden happy
hour event. On May 22, the public is invited to Greenscape to hear a
presentation on permaculture from Maplewood-Richmond Heights School District
educator Melissa Breed Parks, and enjoy signature strawberry lemon drop
cocktails created especially for the event. Guests will also get an exclusive
look at Greenscape’s newest inventory, with 10 percent of all sales during the
event benefiting Gateway Greening and its efforts to educate and empower people
to strengthen their communities through gardening and urban agriculture.
