Holy Infant School Choir Lights Up Holiday Gathering

Students with the choir at Holy Infant School in Ballwin were featured this weekend at Ballwin's 2nd Annual Tree Lighting ceremony.

Visitors to the Olde Towne Plaza this weekend said the city's 2nd Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony brought holiday cheer that hopefully set the stage well for the holidays ahead.

"I think the event went over very well and the kids did a great job singing," Ballwin's human resources manager Haley Morrison said in an email.

The event took place in the 14800 block of Manchester Road, just north of Big Lots near . The event also served as a point of collection for goods being donated to the St. Louis-based service group Circle of Concern.

"This was a very nice event," attendee and Ballwin-Ellisville Patch user Keith Sherry . "LK Music and More played music before and after Holy Infant sang and it was great. Bopp Landscaping did a great job on the tree and making the plaza look good as well. Each year it gets bigger and can't wait for next year!"
