Katie's Pizza & Pasta Osteria's Giveback Tuesday Event Raises Over $2,000 for Local Charity
The Italian eatery has donated over $10,000 to local non-profits since July.
ST. LOUIS β Katieβs Pizza and Pasta Osteria, a local Italian eatery, hosted its monthly Giveback Tuesday event on Tues., October 28 to benefit the local non-profit charity, Gateway 180.
This month, Katieβs was able to raise $2,300 for Gateway 180. In the past 4 months, the restaurant has raised and donated over $10,000 for local non-profits.
βHelping out in our community and trying to make it a better place to live is something weβre really passionate about,β said Katie Lee, owner of Katieβs Pizza & Pasta Osteria. βThis monthβs Giveback Tuesday was a day full of energy and fun for a deserving cause.β

Gateway 180 focuses on reversing homelessness. It provides a safe and nurturing emergency shelter and a supporting housing service for women, children, and families experiencing homelessness with the hope of empowering them to become independent and permanently housed.
On the 4th Tuesday of every month, Katieβs Pizza & Pasta features a local nonprofit charity and donates 100 percent of the earned proceeds. Lunch, dinner, drinks, and carryout are all included.

The next Giveback Tuesday is slated for November 25th, and the Wyman Center will be the recipient of all proceeds for the day.
βWe are grateful for the supportive community that helped us open and has supported us in our first year,β Lee said. βThis is our way of thanking the community β by giving back to the city we love.β
Katieβs Pizza & Pasta Osteria is open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight and features Happy Hour specials from 4 to 6 p.m. Carry-outs are also available.
