Local Band Director/Author Barnes & Noble Book Signing

Rockwood Band Director & Author to Sign Books at Chesterfield Barnes & Noble

Denise Elam Dauw, Band Director at Wildwood Middle School, will be signing books at the Chesterfield Barnes & Noble on October 12, 2013 from 1-3pm. Her historical fiction novel, IF MUSIC BE THE FOOD OF LOVE, partially takes place in St. Louis and spans from the 40s to present day. Her synopsis is as follows: "Relive the passion and romance of Mae, Jean, and Ellie - three ailing women whose lives were forever altered through the powerful presence of music, opening gateways to true love. Amidst their current illness, the women are separately visited by a man of alleged paramount significance. Who is this man? Is he the key to helping these women or can music unlock the answers in time to save them all?" A portion of each book sold benefits The Alzheimer's Association.
