Buffalo Bob Blues Band
7 p.m. Friday at

Buffalo Bob has been a staple of the St. Louis blues scene for over 25 years. He's shared the stage with musical legends such as John Lee Hooker, Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry. Born in Birmingham, AL, Bob moved to St. Louis and integrated Chicago blues with his southern upbringing. Today, he and his band have enjoyed a reputation as one of the best blues bands in the area. Although he no longer wears his trademark Native American headdress, Bob still plays a classic set that he describes as a cross between B.B. King and Eric Clapton.

For a little less rock and a little more country, perk up your ears for Leland's Road. Comprised of the sibling team Kristen and Tyler Elder, they bring a fun mix of pop and country music that's sure to entertain live. Both members have been involved in music from a very early age, influenced in part by their father, Dave, a country vocalist. They also cite their grandfather, the band's namesake, Leland, as an inspiration who had faith in the talents of his grandchildren.

3 Handsome Guys
9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at

Despite the name, 3 Handsome Guys is in fact a quartet. The group of local musicians, formerly known as Minor Sidenote, formed in early 2010 and now brings a fun party atmosphere with covers of a wide range of hit songs spanning the last three decades. The leadership of guitarist/vocalist Jeremy Lieb and singer Jason Jacobs adds a comedic element that's helped the band land a strong following throughout St. Louis. Whether they're playing a benefit gig for charity or packing Thurman’s Bar and Provisions in the Tower Grove neighborhood, 3 Handsome Guys promises a fun time for all.
