The Rockwood Board of Education has approved the hiring of Mrs. Corinne Luczak as the new principal at Eureka Elementary School, beginning July 1, 2021. Mrs. Luczak replaces Mrs. Lynn White, who is retiring after 28 years with the district.Currently, Luczak is the administrative intern at Eureka Elementary School, where she has served since 2019. Prior to that, she was the administrative intern at Woerther Elementary for two years. She also served as a Summer Academy principal for the past three years and spent time as an art teacher at both Chesterfield Elementary and Uthoff Valley Elementary since starting with the district in 2006. Mrs. Luczak earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, a Master of Teaching in Art Education from Lindenwood University and a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Southwest Baptist University. She also earned her Educational Specialist in Administration from Southwest Baptist University, and she is working toward earning a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from William Woods University.“I am so excited and honored to be chosen as the new principal of Eureka Elementary,” said Luczak. “I have already fallen in love with such a wonderful community of parents, students and an amazing staff. I look forward to carrying on the strong tradition of student learning, growth and big hearts.”Mrs. Luczak lives with her husband, Scott, daughter and two sons in Crestwood.
