Shawnee Bluff Vineyards Launches Fall Fest Concert Series, Brings Oak Ridge Boys and National Geographic's "Little Pig Man" t

Lake Ozark, MO – Shawnee Bluff Winery and Vineyards announced that its Fall Fest Concert Series (September 5, September 19, and October 10) will be held at their vineyard property located at 8 Tolwood Road in Eldon , MO. Events will include celebrity food vendor, Carl Blake, and top musical acts including Asleep at the Wheel, The Oak Ridge Boys, and The Mavericks. Doors open at 5 pm for the September dates; doors open at noon for the October date.

“We wanted to bring great entertainers to the Lake of the Ozarks region to celebrate the fall wine harvest,” said Gail Griswold, Vice President of Operations at Shawnee Bluff Winery and Vineyards. “Our Fall Fest Concert Series will bring people of all ages together to have a good time and enjoy superb music, food, and wine.”

Carl Blake will be serving up his delicious brand of pork with a side of serious celebrity. The star of “Little Pig Man” on the National Geographic Channel, Blake introduced a Russian Wild Boar to a Chinese Meishan pig to produce his Iowa Swabian Hall—a pig with just the right ratio of muscle and fat for premium taste and tenderness. His pork has been praised by world-renowned chefs and his farming practices have been given almost equal attention. Blake has been featured in The New York Times, on The Food Channel’s “Bizarre Foods,” on The Colbert Report, and more. He will soon star in a documentary titled Pork.0.

Nine-time Grammy Award winner, Asleep at the Wheel, will perform on Saturday, September 5. Gospel and Country music legends and American music icons, The Oak Ridge Boys, will perform on Saturday, September 19, and genre-defying Grammy Award winners, The Mavericks, will perform on Saturday, October 10.

Local vendors and bands will also contribute to the festivities. There will be face painting, a bounce house, and other activities for the kids, and each Saturday will conclude with a fireworks display.

“There is a special energy at the wineries in the autumn,” said Griswold. “These events will harness this energy in a big way.”
