Today's riddle: What do you call a one-legged Big Foot? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Sally Smith (blogspot.com) — Carthage is mourning longtime resident Sally Darlene Smith, an 89-year-old homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother who passed away Friday. Services are being held today at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, followed by burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, giving friends and neighbors a chance to honor her life and support her large local family.
• Donnie Rogers (blogspot.com) — Carthage residents are remembering Donald "Donnie" Rogers, born and educated in Carthage, who later made his home in Joplin and recently passed away at 86. A Carthage High School graduate, Air Force veteran, and longtime Smallwood Gas employee, he is recalled for his deep faith, devotion to family, and steady influence on his children and grandchildren.
