The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Hunt for a Cure committee has announce its plans for its 5th annual family spring egg hunt. This year’s Hunt will take place at Queeny Park, Saturday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to Noon. Fifty-five area senior centers are stuffing 60,000 eggs with small toys and wrapped treats which will be picked up, delivered and hidden in four, age-appropriate bunny trails by UPS volunteers. Each bunny trail will have a golden egg with a gift certificate for a child’s spring wardrobe from Macy’s. Other event highlights: petting zoo, face painting, fairy tale characters, interactive games/giveaways from 19 radio stations and television street teams, complimentary refreshments, and the arrival of a very special bunny via helicopter.
