April 24, 2013 (St. Louis) – Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, expanded in St Louis with its recent merger with Benefits Solutions Group of St. Louis. The Benefit Solutions Group staff relocated to Heffernan’s St. Louis offices earlier this year. Linda Huber of Benefit Solutions Group was named Heffernan’s Senior Vice President and Employee Benefits Practice Leader for St Louis.
Brian Billhartz, the newly named Senior Vice President and St Louis Branch Manager for Heffernan Insurance Brokers, said that Huber and her team came to the firm to expand and to lead the employee benefits practice in St. Louis, and the greater Midwest.
Billhartz added, “The addition of Linda, Patty Donnelly and Becky Gruszczynski will jumpstart our employee benefits practice here. Culturally, Linda and her team are a great fit and we welcome them with open arms.”
