Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs welcomed more than 150 students to its campus this January, a large class indicating good growth over the past year. The number includes new Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, Master of Science Degree and undergraduate students enrolled in Logan’s accelerated science program (ASP).
According to Dr. Boyd A. Bradshaw, vice president for enrollment management, this was one of the largest groups of new students to enroll during a January trimester in some time. “A number of our prospective Doctor of Chiropractic Students applicants enrolled to complete their prerequisites on-campus and on-line, particularly courses in Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Physics through Logan’s Accelerated Science Program. The accelerated program gives students the opportunity to get familiar and settled at Logan before beginning their Doctor of Chiropractic studies.
“Much of our enrollment success this January can be attributed to our alumni referral program” Dr. Bradshaw added. “The alumni play such a key role in Logan’s success by sharing their experiences and encouraging students to enroll at Logan. Alumni see this as an outstanding way to support their alma mater. Logan has such a rich tradition with more than 10,500 alumni since it was founded.”

Since 1935, Logan College of Chiropractic/University Programs has been preparing students to enter the health care marketplace to become successful Doctors of Chiropractic. To fulfill individual professional goals, Logan also offers its students, graduates and other professionals a choice of two academic master’s programs, offered both online and in an on-campus format, a Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance. Other program offerings include undergraduate coursework including an Accelerated Science Program to help students complete their basic science coursework at an accelerated pace, offered in both online and on-campus formats, and two baccalaureate degrees -- a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science.
