For falling in love again this Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, Balaban's wine cellar & tapas bar in Chesterfield will offer a special a la carte menu plus a Valentine's dessert of chocolate covered strawberries.
Customers hankering for the strawberries in white, dark, milk or tuxedo chocolate can enjoy them over Valentine's dinner or preorder for takeaway by 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Valentine's Day menu entrees range from Balaban's surf and turf to pan seared day boat scallops topping a pea and bacon risotto to roasted veal loin set off by goat cheese and chive mashed potatoes and to New Zealand Ora King Salmon.

For Friday and Saturday nights, Feb. 15 and 16, after Valentine's Day to keep the mood going, Balaban's will augment their regular menu with specials from the Valentine's Day offering.
