Youth In Need to Honor Bruce and Cecily Affleck 26th Annual Celebration of Youth

Youth In Need will honor Bruce and Cecily Affleck at its 26th annual Celebration of Youth dinner and auction on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at St. Louis Union Station Hotel. The Afflecks are long-time champions for children and families throughout the St. Louis region. The event’s major sponsors include: Mercy, ATB Technologies, The Boeing Company, Centene Charitable Foundation, Mary Beth and Jerry Daniels, Future Leaders-Youth In Need (FLYIN), JM Family Enterprises, Inc., Monsanto, AAA Insurance, American Direct Marketing, Don C. Musick Construction Company, Laird Technologies, Mary and Rick Leach, St. Louis Blues 14 Fund, St. Louis Blues Alumni Association and Summit Distributing.

Bruce Affleck is the Chief Operating Officer for the St. Louis Blues and team alum. Cecily Affleck is a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Gundaker. The Afflecks have been heavily involved in charities throughout the St. Louis area, including the March of Dimes and St. Louis University Lupus Foundation. Their involvement with Youth In Need dates back to the early 1990s.

“I couldn’t think of a more deserving couple to honor at this year’s Celebration of Youth,” said Pat Holterman-Hommes, Youth In Need’s President and CEO. “Together, Bruce and Cec have shown their commitment to bettering the community in which they live through their charitable involvement in many worthwhile organizations. This is our opportunity to recognize the compassion they have shown for helping children and families reach their fullest potential.”
