Area Officials March for Meals To Raise Awareness of Senior Hunger
Mid-East Area Agency "Meals on Wheels" work with area champions for Seniors

Recently, State Representative Sue Allen and Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA) volunteer Janice Surti assisted the MEAAA with its “Meals on Wheels” delivery program to help deliver meals to St. Louis area home-bound seniors.
March marks the 13th annual March for Meals campaign. In Missouri, almost 17% of seniors struggle with hunger and 26% live alone. Meals on Wheels uses the month of March to generate awareness for how government officials, private organizations, and individuals can work together to combat senior hunger.
