Cedar Lake Cellars To Host Father's Day Celebration
Winery features four course beer and barbecue dinner.

Cedar Lake Cellars will host its first Father’s Day four course beer and barbecue dinner on Sat., June 20 from 5 to 9 p.m. for those 21 years of age and older. The evening will be led by Anheuser-Busch brewmaster Mike Amad who will discuss beer’s history and brewing methods. The evening begins with an old-fashioned corn hole tournament at 5 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Each attending father will receive a special Cedar Lake Cellars cigar.
The first course is Moroccan barbecued lamb chops with flash-fried mint. The second course is a grilled wedge salad with ale-roasted pork belly, Arkansas tomatoes and gorgonzola dressing. The third course is a hickory smoked beef strip loin with lobster chutney and barbecue butter served with boursin whipped Yukon Gold potatoes and grilled asparagus with herb butter. The fourth course is cinnamon and chipotle grilled peaches served over vanilla bean ice cream and Summer Shandy Caramel. All four courses will be paired with craft beers selected by Amad.
Cedar Lake Cellars, which is situated on 170+ acres of picturesque land, is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo. The restaurant seats 90 indoor and 120 patio diners with a wine bar that features 15 Cedar Lake Cellars wines, as well as 25 wines of the world, craft and domestic beers, and signature wine slushies.
