Cedar Lake Cellars Introduces Spring And Summer Menu

Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event center, recently introduced its new spring and summer menu that focuses on locally harvested crops and area vendors. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo.

The winery offers a rotating list of fresh cheeses from Golden L Creamery in Silex, Mo., as well as seasonal meats and sausages from Behrmann Meat and Processing in Albers, Ill. All fruits and vegetables are bought from local vendors including Lakeview Farms in St. Peters, Mo. and McCann’s Forest Farms in Woodstock, Ill.

New lunch menu items include a Fire Truck wine dressing and berries salad, avocado cilantro hummus, turkey club wrap, creamy crab dip, and herb-creamed bruschetta. Dinner additions include a french dip crostini, sesame roasted salmon, and street fish tacos.

Cedar Lake Cellars is open year-round Fri. through Sun. from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. for those 21 and older with live music scheduled throughout the weekend. “Grab and go” lunch service is available from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and full-service dining from 5 to 9 p.m. Guests are invited to eat their meals near the winery’s three-acre lake where picnic benches and grassy areas are perfect for outdoor dining.

The winery serves 15 wines from Missouri and California under its own private label, Tastings of the Cellars, as well as approximately 25 additional "Wines of the World" from other regions. The company also serves its signature wine slushies in a variety of flavors plus domestic, imported and craft-bottled and draft beers.
