Chesterfield Is 14th Largest City in Missouri

Chesterfield's population increased by 1.5 percent in the last 10 years, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
According to the data, there are 682 more people in Chesterfield than there were in 2000. The estimated population is now 47, 484.
Although the city grew, other cities outpaced it. In 2000, Chesterfield was the 12th largest city in Missouri. Now, it's the 14th largest.

The number of Chesterfield residents who identified themselves as Asian alone grew by 1,488. The number of Chesterfield residents who identified themselves as Hispanic or Latino grew by 597, while the number of peole who identified themselves as African American alone grew by 385.
St. Louis County's population dropped about 1.7 percent. Less than a million people now live in the county.
