Chesterfield Will Soon Have Its First Buffalo Wild Wings

Sports-centric wing and beer restaurant is opening Nov. 30 in the former O'Charley's location in Chesterfield Commons.

Sports fans and wing fanatics will soon have another option to add to their list of watering holes with a Buffalo Wild Wings set to open in the Chesterfield Commons shopping center Nov. 30.

The liquor license for the wing chain was approved at a Chesterfield City Council meeting Monday. The restaurant will be operated by Creve Coeur-based A Shur Wing LLC and marks the franchisee's 16th store in the St. Louis and mid-Missouri area, according to marketing manager Kristan Boehm.

Boehm said the company is aiming for a Nov. 30 opening and is excited to start up its first Chesterfield location. A Shur Wing has long been hoping to get a foothold in the Chesterfield Valley but has been waiting for the right location, she said.

The location at 17276 Chesterfield Airport Road had formerly been home to an O'Charley's, which shuttered in May. Buffalo Wild Wings is currently in the process of renovating the interior and exterior of the site and has some signage up in the parking lot announcing the new store.
