Join us for the 2nd Annual Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival, the largest jazz party in the St. Louis region! The Midwest's finest outdoor jazz festival offers an exciting lineup of artists that showcase the best in contemporary, straight-ahead and fusion jazz. The FREE event will be held at the Chesterfield Amphitheater (631 Veterans Drive) on Saturday, June 28 from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Bring the family for an evening of world-class music, fireworks and fun along with a wide variety of great food and wine.
Christopher Braig and Erika Johnson Quintet will kick off the event at 3:00 pm. Ptah Williams: A Tribute to Chick Corea, will follow at 4:30 pm, and Freddie Washington, featuring Maurice Carnes, will take the stage at 6:00 pm. Bach to the Future, the chart-topping classical/jazz artists, will perform at 7:30 pm. And last but definitely not least, the Grammy awary-winning jazz icons - The Yellowjackets, will close the evening with an exciting performance at 9:00 pm.
Entrance into the Chesterfield Wine & Jazz Festival is free to the public. No outside food or beverage, containers, coolers, tobacco, chairs and blankets will be allowed. Small beach towels are acceptable. The festival will be held rain or shine.
The Chesterfield Wine & Jazz festival was founded by Rob Silverman and Michael Silverman as an extension of Autumn Hill Records and Autumn Hill Jazz. The event features internationally acclaimed jazz artists, as well as many of our own world-class St. Louis jazz performers. The festival recognizes St. Louis as the true birthplace of jazz.
