Endangered Wolf Center Holiday Boutique 2015
How you can holiday shop and help nature at the same time

If you have friends, family, neighbors or co-works who love nature and conservation, be sure to put the Endangered Wolf Center’s (EWC) Holiday Boutique -- Saturday, December 5 -- on your calendar. Shop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be light refreshments and $10 mini-tours every hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No reservations are needed for tours that day only.
The Gift Shop is stocked with hundreds of wolf- and nature-themed gifts. All purchases go towards the Center’s vital mission of preserving endangered Mexican wolves and red wolves and returning them to the wild.
Among the unique gift ideas are African painted dog sculptures made by Zimbabwean artists using wire snares confiscated from illegal poaching operations. Under the direction of the Painted Dog Conservation group in Zimbabwe, the snare art project helps combat poaching and helps sustain the livelihood of the local artists. Dozens of the wire sculptures are available in the EWC gift shop. Other unique gifts include paintings done by maned wolves.
