High school students who plan to pursue higher education can get a head start by attending a workshop at six St. Louis County Library branches. The workshops are entitled “College & the Real World: A Workshop for Teens” and feature author and youth motivational speaker Grant Baldwin. The workshops are free and open to the public, but registration is recommended. Teens and parents of teens are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be served.
The first 30 teens to arrive at each workshop will receive a free copy of “Reality Check” by Grant Baldwin. The book is a humorous guide to navigating the “real world” that teens are thrust into by the simple act of going to college.
This program is funded by the Energizer Charitable Trust and the Herbert A. and Adrian W. Woods Foundation.
