The battle is on for the best older worker of 2011! The 21st annual Older Worker of the Year contest sponsored by MERS/Goodwill is accepting nominations to honor a Missouri worker who is 60 or older, employed at least 20 hours a week and displays extraordinary dedication on the job. Nomination forms must be submitted by August 31 and are available on the Department of Health and Senior Services’ website, http://www.health.mo.gov/ownomform.pdf.
Completed entry forms can be mailed to: Missouri Outstanding Older Worker Contest, Division of Senior and Disability Services, Bureau of Senior Programs, P.O. Box 570, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0570. They can also be faxed to (573) 522-3024.
