First Bank Names New Chief Information Officer

Bala Nibhanupudi has been promoted to Chief Information Officer at First Bank’s Hazelwood Operations Center (600 James McDonnell Blvd).

“Bala is a strategic leader, strong business partner and decisive manager,” said Shelley Seifert, Chief Operating Officer for First Bank. “His vision of creating a technology environment that is a frontrunner in adding business value through disciplined, focused and short duration projects will help position us to achieve our strategic plan.”

In his new role, Nibhanupudi will be responsible for all IT management. He previously served as Vice President in the Information System Department, leading the application development teams at First Bank.

Prior to joining First Bank, Nibhanupudi was a Senior Program Manager at Express Scripts. He also previously managed technology groups for Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Allied Informatics Inc. and Protective Life.

Nibhanupudi has a BS in engineering from Nagarjuna University in India. He is one of the founding members of Arya Foundation – a non-profit that helps children with disabilities.

Nibhanupudi lives in Chesterfield, Missouri.
