Half Price Books, the nation's largest new and used bookstore chain, continues its expansion with a new location in Chesterfield. The store, located at 1664 Clarkson Road, marks the first Half Price Books location in the St. Louis area.
The new location, which occupies nearly 10,000 square feet, will celebrate its official opening with free tote bags and $5 Half Price Books gift cards for the first 100 people at the store Thursday, June 5 through Sunday, June 8. One lucky shopper each day will win a $100 gift card. Customer will receive special great opening discounts off of any one item each day.

“We’re excited to introduce Half Price Books to the greater St. Louis area,” said Kathy Doyle Thomas, executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Half Price Books. “We know the area is full of booklovers and they’ll find a great product at a great price when they shop our store.”
Half Price Books will open at 9 a.m. each day of the great opening weekend. The store offers new and used books, magazines, comics, records, cassettes, videos, CDs, DVDs and collectible items.
Dallas-based Half Price Books has 120 stores in 16 states, including stores in Kansas City and Independence.
