Forth Grade Student Makes a Difference

You can make a difference at any age.
When Suzi Tozer was fighting Breast Cancer, and went through Chemo she lost her hair. That just meant she continued to teach Sunday School, as she had for the past 20 years, but she did it bald. This made an impact on one her students, Madison Marks. Marks, who was so inspired by her teacher’s fight with cancer that she decided to start her business, Clutches For Cancer. She designed and sewed purses and pillows, and sold them for $5. Half of all proceeds went to the American Cancer Society. She was given a tour of the wonderful St. Louis headquarters, and the Hope Lodge. Madison presented them with about $100 and she still has a lot more to donate. She is 10 years old and attends Green Trails Elementary School.
Madison and her Clutches for Cancer will be at the Health and Wealth Expo on Saturday, October 18th at Chesterfield Mall.
The first 200 attendees will receive gift bags and random bags will have wonderful prizes, everything from cash to a computer. Entry is free of charge
