Dogtopia of Ellisville is a locally owned dog daycare, boarding, spa, and training center on Manchester Road in Ellisville, serving families across West St. Louis County, including Ballwin, Wildwood, Chesterfield, and Clarkson Valley. Owner Nick Losciuto opened it in 2018 as Missouri's first Dogtopia, with a simple goal: give dogs the exercise, socialization, and enrichment they need, and give pet parents full visibility into their care. Daycare is the heart of what we do. Dogs are grouped by size, temperament, and play style and spend the day in structured, supervised open play with scheduled rest breaks. Every playroom is staffed by trained Canine Coaches, whose custom training program was designed by a registered animal behaviorist to help them read subtle body language and keep play safe and balanced. Live webcams let you check in on your dog in the playrooms and yard throughout the day. Our 10,500 sq ft facility is built for health and safety: four indoor playrooms plus an outdoor play yard, a separate air system for each playroom with UV Sterile-Air purification, rubberized flooring to protect joints, flowing water fountains instead of shared bowls, and a twice-daily deep clean with a hospital-grade, pet-friendly cleaner. We're a certified Heroes for Healthy Pets facility. Overnight boarding includes a full day of supervised daycare, so boarding dogs spend their days playing and socializing instead of sitting in a kennel run. We also offer spa services (baths, brush-outs, de-shedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth cleaning) and a 4-week puppy training program that pairs one-on-one sessions with real-world practice in daycare. The shuffleboard courts are on the cement slab at—also known as the dog park. Bring your own cues and discs for play—some call them tangs and biscuits. The courts are near the entrance to the park, between the bathrooms barn and the road, Old Baxter. The city allotted about $8,000 to construct the courts. The park is located behind Dierberg's Market Place (Clarkson and Baxter roads) and bounded by Baxter and Old Baxter roads, and Highcroft Drive. The park also has community gardens, a walking trail, and a butterfly garden in the works.
