Host an exchange student and bring South America to your kitchen table!

Host an international high school exchange student and bring South America to your kitchen table! email gateway@iseusa.org

International Student Exchange is seeking host families for the upcoming semester. Our students come from Europe, South America, Asia and Australia for the academic year or a semester. We currently have two students: a high school junior - Juan -from Columbia and a high school sophomore - Dora - from Brazil -for the January - May semester. Both are A students, excellent athletes and are looking forward to spending time in St. Louis!

Founded in 1982, International Student Exchange (ISE) is a non-profit organization designated by the United States Department of State Educational and Cultural Affairs Division. Our goal is to increase cultural and global awareness in American communities, schools, and families by allowing foreign students to interact and become involved in everyday activities. Sharing cross- cultural experiences, we feel, could influence the decisions of the leaders of tomorrow, both here and in other countries, ultimately promoting a more peaceful world.

The students come prepared to learn and engage with your family and community. They bring many resources with them and ultimately leave their host communities with a new and inspired outlook on the world.

I look forward to hearing back from you about your interest in serving as a host family!
