Kingdom House is national finalist for major Opus Foundation Grant
St. Louis' own Kingdom House which has been improving the lives of more than 8,000 low-income people each year, is one of eight finalists competing with other nonprofits for a major national award from the Opus Foundation. They are competing with other nonprofit organizations in Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Des Moines, Kansas City, Phoenix and Minneapolis.
Kingdom House would use this award to expand its Kingdom Academy, which helps shepherd the lowest performing high school students to graduation and into post-secondary opportunities.
Online voting takes place between 9am on April 5 and 3pm April 15. One vote per Internet device is allowed. It only takes one minute, but it can have a lifetime of impact for those they serve.
