Logan University Appoints New Dean of Students

Logan University is pleased to announce that Shelley Sawalich, PhD, has accepted the position of Dean of Students, Office of Student Affairs. Dr. Sawalich holds a Doctorate in Philosophy in Higher Education from Saint Louis University, a Master of Science in College Student Affairs from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Previously, Dr. Sawalich was the Director of the Academic Resource Center at Webster University and the Director of Academic Support in the Student Success Center at Saint Louis University. She has also served in similar roles at The University of Alabama and Eastern Illinois University.

Dr. Sawalich has a tremendous amount of experience providing management, vision and leadership for undergraduate and graduate programs that supports academic success, professional growth and development for students.
