Marquette Senior Signs to Play Golf for University of Akron
Zach Gollwitzer was named to All-State and All-Metro teams during his junior year.
Marquette senior Zach Gollwitzer signed a letter of intent to play men’s golf Nov. 14. He will play for the University of Akron.
Gollwitzer has been a 4-year member of the varsity team at Marquette. His honors include being All-State and All-Metro his junior year, All-Suburban West Conference for three years, and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Athlete of the Week during his junior year. Zach tied for 3rd place in the MSHSAA State Tournament as a junior and tied for 27th place as a sophomore in the same tournament.
