Police Blotter: Car Thieves Target Unlocked Vehicles
A rash of car thefts reported in the first part of this week's incident report continued, with 11 more vehicle break-ins reported from Nov. 24-27.

Nov 27
Shoplifting - Unknown subjects took alcohol from a store in the Four Seasons Shopping Center without paying.Â

Larceny, person - An unknown subject took the victim's cell phone after it was left unattended on a counter in the 14000 block of Clatyon Road.Â
Larceny, person - An unknown subject took a cell phone that was left unattended in the 1000 block of Chesterfield Pointe Parkway.Â

Nov. 26
Shoplifting - A 45-year-old male concealed video games and then left a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard without paying.Â
Assault - A 38-year-old male and a female hit and pushed each other after an argument, causing no injuries. The incident occurred in the 15000 block of Peach Hill Court.Â
Larceny auto - An unknown subject entered unlocked vehicles in the 14000 block of Hunters Point and took a briefcase and loose change.Â
Nov. 25
Larceny, auto - An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle in the 14000 block of Greenleaf Valley Drive but did not take anything.
Larceny, auto - An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle in the 14000 block of Brook Hill Drive and took sunglasses, an iPod, a coat and some loose change.Â

Shoplifting - A 22-yer-oold male concealed alcohol and left a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard without paying.Â
Gas drive off - An unknown subject pumped gasoline and drove off without paying at a service station in the 15000 block of Olive Boulevard.Â
Shoplifting - Three females aged 22, 24 and 28 concealed clothing and left a store in the Chesterfield Mall without paying.Â

Shoplifting - An unknown subject took clothing from a store in the Chesterfield Mall and left without paying.Â
Larceny, auto - An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of Clarkson Road and took a check.Â
Assault - A 19-year-old male struck his girlfriend in the face after an argument, causing minor injuries. The incident occurred in the Chesterfield Mall.Â
Shoplifting - An unknown subject grabbed clothing and ran out of a store in the Chesterfield Mall without paying.Â
Larceny, auto - An unknown subject broke out the window of a vehicle in the 16000 block of Burkhardt Place and took a GPS unit.Â
Larceny, auto - An unknown subject damaged the door handle on a vehicle at the Chesterfield Mall and took a radar detector and two phone charges.Â
Peace Disturbance - A 31-year-old male operated a parking lot sweeper during overnight hours in the 1600 block of Clarkson Road.Â
Larceny, business - An unknown subject removed 19 catalytic converters from cars at the Chesterfield Kia dealership.Â
Property damage, vehicle - An unknown subject damaged the door lock on a vehicle in the 300 block of E. Chesterfield Center but did not take anything.Â
Larceny, auto - An unknown subject damaged a door lock on a vehicle in the Chesterfield Mall and took a backpack containing a laptop and school supplies. Â
