Police Blotter: Stereos Stolen from Cars

The Chesterfield Police blotter provides information on reported incidents from June 29 to July 3.

The following information was supplied by the Chesterfield Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

June 29

  • Sometime between June 26 and June 29, power tools and lawn equipment were taken from a garage in the 1900 block of Ridge Lake Drive.
  • Someone entered the concession stand on school property in the 14000 block of Clayton Road. They damaged some property.
  • A 28-year-old woman took clothing from a store in Chesterfield Mall.
  • An 18-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl had stolen clothing at Chesterfield mall.
  • A 16-year-old girl took clothing from a store in Chesterfield Mall.
  • Someone broke out a window of a vehicle and took a radar detector while the vehicle was parked in the 13000 block of Olive Boulevard.

  • Cash was taken from a purse after it was left outside a store in Hilltown Village Center.
  • A 16-year-old boy was stopped for a traffic violation near the intersection of Appalachian Trail and Olive Boulevard when it was discovered he had marijuana.
  • A 54-year-old man took an electronic game from a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard.
  • Someone took a display cellphone from a store in the 200 block of THF Boulevard.
  • A 16-year-old girl took merchandise from a store in Chesterfield mall.
  • A 41-year-old man violated a court order of protection by making phone calls to his ex-wife. The incident was reported in the 700 block of Alrick Drive.
  • An 18-year-old man had alcohol in the 200 block of THF Boulevard. 

July 1

  • Someone took a car stereo from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Park Forest Drive.
  • An 18-year-old man was found passed out in a car in the 200 block of THF Boulevard. He was found with marijuana.
  • Landscaping material was taken from a business in the 14000 block of S Outer 40 Road.
  • Someone hit the victim in the 400 block of Chesterfield Center, but the victim was uncooperative during the investigation.
  • A ring was taken after it was left on a table in a home on the 1200 block of Hidden Oak Road. An unknown woman who was let in the home to make a phone call might have taken it.

July 2

  • A 22-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation at Clarkson Road and Leiman Drive when it was discovered he had marijuana and paraphernalia.
  • A 24-year-old man took a GPS unit, CD and perfume from a vehicle in the 16000 block of Park Forest Drive.
  • A 20-year-old man took merchandise from a store in the 100 block of THF Boulevard.
  • A 41-year-old woman left a dog unattended in a vehicle parked in the 17000 block of Chesterfield Airport Road.
  • Someone entered a victim's vehicle and garage in the 2200 block of Stoneridge Terrace Court and took an iPod, charger, keys, checks, cash, a purse, a wallet, glasses, gift cards, passport, credit cards, jewelry and makeup.

July 3

  • Someone took a car stereo from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of London Lane.
  • A 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man were stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Olive Boulevard and Woods Mill Road when it was discovered they had drug paraphernalia.

Someone took a watch after it was left at a business in the 1600 block of Clarkson Road.

June 28
Someone removed chains from the front porch of a home in the 1200 block of Luray Drive between June 25 and June 28.
