Ray Barrett Named Chairman at Triumph Pharmaceuticals

Barrett was elected to be chairman of the board of St. Louis-based pharmaceutical

Ray Barrett has been elected as chairman of the board of St. Louis-based Triumph Pharmaceutical, the developers of SmartMouth “activated” mouthwash. The SmartMouth mouthwashes and related products (toothpaste, gum and mints) are available nationally in over 60,000 retail stores, including all major national chains as well as many other fine retailers.

“I am honored to have been chosen to lead this dynamic company,” said Barrett. “The SmartMouth technology is truly revolutionary and the potential for its sales growth is unlimited.”

First developed by Dr. Marvin Cohen in 1996, the SmartMouth products use a patented zinc-ion technology to eliminate bad breath and prevent it from coming back for at least 12 hours. SmartMouth does not contain alcohol, so it does not burn or dry out the mouth. There is continuing research being conducted to prove many other benefits to oral health from the SmartMouth activation process.
