The month of January has the highest number of divorces, and every year, nearly 2.8 million men and women go through the emotional and financial trauma of divorce. In the first year following divorce, studies show that the former wife’s standard of living may drop as much as 27 %. (WIFE.org)

Second Saturday provides non-biased financial, emotional and legal considerations from highly qualified local professionals to help people move through the divorce process and forward to build a new life.

Her personal experience of going through divorce and the family court system, which can take a tremendous emotional and financial toll on everyone involved, motivated her to help other women be informed about the divorce process. This workshop provides education, support and guidance to women in this transition, helping them move confidently towards independence.
