Small Town Girl Attracts Big City Attention
Fantabulosity.com Founder Selected to Speak at National Conference, Garners Advertising Dollars from Global Brands
Farmington, MO—Jessica Burgess, founder of Fantabulosity.com, a lifestyle blog that features party planning ideas, do-it-yourself projects, crafts, recipes, fashion, and more, has been invited to speak at the Pinners Conference, an event bringing Pinterest experts and widely read bloggers together with their fan base, being held November 6-7, 2015 at the South Towne Expo Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Burgess was chosen as a result of Fantabulosity’s rapid growth and overall readership and engagement statistics.
Burgess will be leading one of 90 sessions during the conference; her topic will be party planning.
“I am thrilled to have been invited to speak at the 2015 Pinners Conference,” said Burgess. “I love organizing, decorating, and entertaining, and want to share my tricks of the trade with current and future Fantabulosity readers.”

Founded in 2011 as a creative outlet for Burgess, Fantabulosity quickly expanded into a serious business—garnering serious advertising dollars. The site draws more than 100,000 loyal readers every month; global brands wanted to leverage the fiercely loyal—and continuously growing—Fantabulosity audience. Currently, Fantabulosity counts Coca-Cola, Oreo, Walgreens, Cheerios, Nestlé, Clorox, Famous Footwear, Wet Naps, Mars Candy, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, and Big Lots among its past and current advertisers.
These large brands have witnessed their return on investment firsthand. According to Amy Fulcher, Content Creator for several international companies, “Jessica’s work on the recent ‘Sharing the Simple Moments’ Coca-Cola campaign was amazing—and greatly increased traffic. Her attention to detail and photographic style blew the client away.”

Burgess is just as blown away. “I remember when I first got the email from Cheerios,” she said. “My jaw just dropped. I had been monitoring Fantabulosity’s growth—I just didn’t know that large brands had been, too.”
It is this genuine humility that makes Burgess, and Fantabulosity, so relatable. Growing up on a farm in Farmington, MO, Burgess received her Associate of Arts Degree in Business Administration, from Mineral Area College in Missouri and married her high school sweetheart. Prior to launching Fantabulosity, Burgess served as a bookkeeper and CFO for a Farmington-based business.
As comfortable brewing sun sweet tea on her porch as she is in a board room with some of today’s largest household brands, Burgess has differentiated herself from others in the blogosphere with her wit, honesty, and relatability. In fact, it is her authenticity that has accelerated Fantabulosity’s growth.
“I don’t know where this path will lead, but I’m excited to find out,” she says. “What I do know is that I get to wake up every day and do what I love.”
