Two Out of Three Westbound I-70 Lanes to Close Monday and Tuesday Nights

The Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Krupp Construction will close two lanes of westbound Interstate 70 at the Interstate 270 interchange November 28-29, weather permitting.

Crews will close two of the three lanes and the exit ramp from westbound I-70 to northbound and southbound I-270 Monday, November 28 and Tuesday, November 29 from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews are installing a sign truss at the interchange.

This work is part of a project to add a permanent lane on the westbound I-70 exit ramps to northbound and southbound I-270 as part of the year-long closure of the westbound I-70 Blanchette Bridge scheduled to begin in 2012.
