Unraveling The Mysteries of Long Term Care
VOYCE presents educational long-term care educational conference for professionals/general public

Almost 400 professionals and the general public attended "The Changing Landscape of Long-Term Care" Conference on June 10th at the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. The educational conference offered questions we all face. How do you talk to your children about end-of-life decisions? What types of support services might you need as you get older? Can you afford them? What options will allow you to remain in your home instead of going into assisted living? These are just a few questions consumers are asking as they age and face the possibility of short- or long-term disabilities or illnesses. To provide answers, VOYCE, a nonprofit agency that educates and empowers individuals and their families on long-term care, presented the conference to demystify and debunk common myths and misconceptions about long-term care.
