MEAAA Thanks Community "Big Wheels" For Ongoing "Meals on Wheels" Contribution for Area Seniors

The Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA) recently hosted its inaugural “Family Fun Day & Thank You Event” for community and civic leaders who have made ongoing contributions to the agency’s signature program “Meals on Wheels” in Creve Coeur Park.

The Meals on Wheels program provides more than 2,500 home-bound seniors with daily meals and social interactions in St. Louis, St. Charles, Franklin and Jefferson Counties. In addition to the ”Big Wheels” recognition, there was lots of fun activities for the family including a Bounce House, Games, Visits with the Oscar Meyer Mobile and Fire and Rescue Vehicles.
