Clayton Early Childhood Center names Dr. Gina Siebe as Executive Director

Clayton, MO - The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Dr. Gina Siebe will join the non-profit Clayton Early Childhood Center (CECC) as the organization’s Executive Director beginning July 23rd, 2012.

Siebe joins CECC after retiring in 2012 as Elementary Principal, Preschool Director, and Parents as Teachers Supervisor for the Bayless School District. In her eight years at Bayless, Siebe oversaw strategic programs that raised student achievement by multiple measures, and won and maintained a Missouri Preschool Project Grant. Since 2010, she has served as Chairperson of the St. Louis Suburban Elementary Principal’s Association.

Siebe is a graduate of Fontbonne University, received her administration certification from Maryville University, and her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. She lives in the St. Louis area, is married, has three sons, and one granddaughter.

Clayton Early Childhood Center opened on June 4th, 2012 in the stone mansion at 1 Oak Knoll Park, providing full and part-time, full-day educational programs for infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children (ages six weeks to five years).

The organization was formed as a partnership between parents and teachers who imagined a school that would provide loving, creative, and thoughtful education, a place where families and teachers work together to support children’s health, happiness, development, and learning.

"We are extremely pleased to have someone of Gina's caliber join CECC,” says Board Chairperson Cason Coplin. “Her leadership, insight, and expertise – along with the continued support of the CECC families and alumni, the City of Clayton, and other local organizations – will enable us to provide the best early educational experience available for our students."

Clayton Early Childhood Center is governed by a Board of Directors, to be comprised of parent and non-parent members. The Executive Director serves as the chief executive of the organization and as such has the primary staff responsibility to lead and manage the work of the organization in alignment with its vision, mission, and guiding principles. 

"It is an honor to serve as the Executive Director for Clayton Early Childhood Center,” says Siebe. “It is my hope to work collaboratively with the Board, teachers, and parents to create a quality early childhood program that promotes growth and success at all levels."
