Dowd Bennett proudly announces new partner Kelly Murrie. Ms. Murrie joined the firm as an associate in March 2012. She was recently named by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as a 2012 Up & Coming Lawyer and recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a 2012 Missouri and Kansas Rising Star.
Ms. Murrie practices in the areas of complex product liability and commercial litigation, as well as corporate internal investigations and white collar defense. Prior to joining Dowd Bennett LLP, she worked as an associate at
Bryan Cave LLP in the firm’s Product Liability and White Collar Defense groups. She has extensive litigation experience and has worked on product liability and
commercial matters from inception through jury trial and appeal.
Ms. Murrie graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Woolsack from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she was the Supervising Notes and Comments Editor of the Public Law Review. Ms. Murrie also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. William D. Stiehl of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois and completed internships at both the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Illinois and the Missouri Public Defender’s St. Louis City office.
