Enterprise Trust Names Michael J. Kowalkowski Chief Investment Officer

August 30, 2012 (St. Louis) – Enterprise Financial Services Corp (NASDAQ: EFSC) announced the appointment of Michael J. Kowalkowski as Chief Investment Officer of Enterprise Trust, the Company’s wealth management, private banking and financial advisory division.

Kowalkowski has over twenty five years of experience in the capital markets implementing investment, banking, and treasury strategies.  Prior to joining Enterprise Trust, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager at TIAA-CREF Trust Company since 2000.  He has also served as Director of Treasury operations for BJC Health System and Senior Cash Management Analyst at Ralston Purina Company. 


Joe Gazzoli, CEO of Enterprise Trust, said, “I am extremely pleased that Mike has joined us as Chief Investment Officer.  He brings to our company an extensive knowledge of capital markets and investment strategies, coupled with a strong client service orientation. Focusing on our investment platform, he will ensure that our clients are benefitting from a robust menu of investment alternatives.”


Kowalkowski holds two Masters degrees:  an M.S. in Finance and a M.S. in Economics, both from the University of Illinois.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the University City Symphony Orchestra, Treasurer of the Haven of Grace in Old North St. Louis, and in several roles with the St. Louis Treasury Management Association, including President.
