Holly Breuer, CPA, Purk & Associates, P.C., Receives Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) Certification

February 6, 2013 (St. Louis) – Purk & Associates, P.C., the leading, independently owned St. Louis-based accounting and management advisory firm, announced today that Holly Breuer, CPA, a director in the tax division, received an Accredited Business Valuation (ABV) certification from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Breuer is one of the original founding team members of Purk & Associates when the firm was founded in 2009. Her areas of expertise are compliance and regulatory consulting, business advisory, and mergers and acquisition planning and consultation.  Her clients include real estate developers, manufacturers, and professional service companies, many of which operate in multiple states across the country.

She is Immediate Past Chair of the MSCPA’s Firm Leadership committee and serves as a MSCPA Mentor. Breuer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), and a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. In 2012, Breuer was selected as one of the “Women to Watch” by the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), and she was selected by the Small Business Monthly as one of the “2012 Top Small Business Accountants” by the publication’s readers.

Breuer is active in the St. Louis community where she currently serves as Finance Chair for the Board of Directors for St. Elizabeth’s Adult Day Care Centers. She is frequently asked to present to associations and charitable organizations about tax trends and year-end planning.

She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from Fontbonne University.
