
ST. LOUIS – Michael E. Hoover has joined Argent Capital Management LLC as director of institutional sales. In his new role, Hoover oversees the firm’s institutional marketing, sales and client service efforts targeting investment consultants, Taft-Hartley plans, public funds, endowments, foundations and other nonprofit organizations.
With more than 23 years industry experience, Hoover previously served as vice president and institutional director at Scout Investments, a national institutional investment management firm based in Kansas City, Mo. He joined Scout as a result of the firm’s acquisition of Reams Asset Management Company where he had served as director of business development. Prior to Reams, he was director of Taft-Hartley marketing and client service for Lord, Abbett & Co.
