October 18, 2012 (St. Louis) – Taylor Souder, CPA, was promoted to senior associate at Purk & Associates, PC, the leading, independently owned St. Louis-based accounting and management advisory firm.
Souder works in the firm’s Tax Department and has close to five years of accounting experience. Her area of expertise is to perform tax compliance and consulting for privately held companies of all entities, such as sales and use tax and multi-state filings. She also prepares tax returns for the firm’s high-net-worth clients, and prepares tax returns for the firm’s business clients that are structured as partnerships, C-Corporations and S-Corporations. Souder also provides controllership services for clients by performing ledger reviews and adjustments, general bookkeeping, and QuickBooks training.

Souder earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting (AICPA). She is active with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.
