SSM Health Care – St. Louis appoints Anisha Morrell-Charles as foundation director of communications and annual programs

Anisha Morrell-Charles has been named director of communications and annual programs for the SSM Health Care – St. Louis foundation offices that oversee the organization’s philanthropy efforts. She will be responsible for foundation communications, philanthropic marketing and network annual events for the five adult SSM Health Care – St. Louis hospitals, which include SSM DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, SSM St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, SSM St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis and SSM St. Mary’s Health Center in Richmond Heights.

Morrell-Charles has 14 years of experience in the field, most recently as the special assistant to the chancellor at St. Louis Community College. She has a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Master of Arts in Corporate Communication and Promotions from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
